The prize package for the winner will be a week at the very exclusive Pips Resort Byron Bay and $500 of travel expenses which is valued at $3,300. Holiday must be taken within twelve months and not during peak periods.

The judging criteria are a short essay completed by the entrants on what makes them a smart business. Entrants should include photos of the business staff and customers plus supplier testimonials. The entries are judged by the last year's winner, Cafe Culture Magazine, and Café Biz consultancy. The winner will be announced at the Café Biz annual event in Sydney in October 2005.

Entry is open to any cafe in Australia. The entry forms will be distributed via Café culture Magazine, CafeBiz mailing list and BBCC distributors as from June 2005. Entries will close September 30th 2005
