The Byron Bay Cookie Company Sticky Date & Ginger Café Cookie received a gold award at the 2005 Great Taste Awards, a competition organised by the UK Guild of Fine Food Retailers. The rigorous judging was made by an expert panel of food critics, retailers, writers and industry buyers who blind tasted like-for-like products, recognising those with outstanding taste.

The Café Cookie was one of 3878 entries to the prestigious awards, which is the only independent accreditation for speciality food and drink in the UK.

Byron Bays Sticky Date and Ginger cookies are crammed with big chunks of hand sorted dates and walnut halves and have generous lashings of real glace’ ginger from Australia’s premier ginger grower Buderim Ginger. They are gently mixed to maintain the fruit and nut quality.

Byron Bay’s Café Cookies are supplied in what seems like a normal plastic tray. The tray is actually made from corn starch so is completely safe to humans, the environment and most importantly completely biodegradable.
